Sustainability is a fundamental choice for Vimi Fasteners and it is fully integrated into the Group’s Vision and strategies. It extends to Vimi’s supply chain and stakeholders.
Sustainability is a key factor to create long-term value for our stakeholders and our community and it represents an integral part of our way of doing business.
The vimi fasteners' Sustainability Report includes the disclosure of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals, along with the progress made toward achieving these objectives.
Letter to Stakeholders
Dear Stakeholders,
2025 was a particularly demanding year, characterized by numerous critical issues that created significant tensions within international trade. We operated in a landscape marked by the persistence of conflicts in Europe, increasing competitive pressure from Asian manufacturers, and the repeated challenges posed by new U.S. trade tariffs under the Trump administration.
In this climate of high uncertainty, the Vimi Group acted with promptness and unwavering commitment to navigate these shifting dynamics, successfully achieving a 1.5% increase in revenue and significantly improving the Group's profitability.This result serves as clear evidence of a solid and resilient business model.
Alongside our financial results, we have determinedly pursued a path toward authentic and measurable sustainability. Through the combination of our photovoltaic system and certified supply sources, 82% of our electricity consumption now comes from renewable sources. Furthermore, our production waste recovery rate has risen to 69%, actively promoting recycling and supporting a circular economy.
We have also invested in the well-being of our people by improving the microclimate within production departments and strengthening safety procedures, which led to a significant reduction in injury rates
Furthermore, we focused our attention on strengthening Cybersecurity policies to protect our information assets and those of our clients by embarking on the journey toward TISAX certification.
We also chose to renew our support for local organizations, including educational institutions, the Caritas Soup Kitchen, and the protection of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park, firmly believing that a company’s growth is inseparable from the well-being of its community.
As a testament to our vision and the effectiveness of the initiatives undertaken, we improved our Next Index sustainability performance indicator, reaching a score of 65% compared to 61% in the previous year and 55% in 2023.
We look upon these achievements with great satisfaction and extend our gratitude to all stakeholders who have placed their trust in us and accompanied us on this journey.
Despite the uncertainties and tensions of the global landscape, we remain confident in our future and in the potential of the Vimi Group.

Our Projects
Vimi Fasteners supports the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Biosphere Reserve
Aware of the important role we play within the social and economic fabric, Vimi Fasteners has purchased the Sustainability Credits of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. This contributes to supporting the responsible management of forests by increasing the absorption of carbon dioxide, reducing hydrogeological instability, and creating a better home for a great number of animal and plant species.
It is a tangible commitment to the responsibility we have as a company to combat CO2 emissions. The Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO in 2015, is now the largest in Italy and extends over 80 municipalities in the provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Lucca, Massa Carrara and La Spezia.
