Process
All Vimi Fasteners products are manufactured according to the APQP procedures (Advanced Product Quality Process). Customer satisfaction is therefore ensured by a rigorous implementation of the new products together with stable production processes.
Vimi Fasteners rigorously applies:
• validation of the manufacturing process
• incoming material inspection
• statistical process control (SPC) on significant and critical characteristics
• 100% automatic end-of-line controls
Laboratory
State of the art Vimi Fasteners laboratory is capable to perform following tests:
- functional tests (tensile, fatigue, shear, resilience, friction coefficient, microhardness, etc.)
- geometry (profile measurement, roughness, etc.)
- cleanliness
- corrosion test (salt spray test)
- chemical analysis with spectrometer
- optical micrography
